These rules apply to all players participating in Airsoft Reload Manitoba. Please review carefully before attending. Safety, sportsmanship, and fair play are mandatory.
Safety & Equipment Regulations
SECTION 1: SAFETY RULES
1. Replica Handling
- Magazines must be removed outside gameplay and chrono areas.
- No dry firing outside designated gameplay or chrono zones.
- When leaving the gameplay or chrono area:
- Remove your magazine.
- Point your replica toward the ground.
- Fire two safe shots to confirm the chamber is clear.
2. Eye & Face Protection
- Full-seal, ANSI-rated goggles are required in gameplay and chrono areas.
- Mesh goggles and standard safety glasses are not permitted.
- Lower face protection is required during gameplay.
- Shemaghs or mouthguards must be approved by staff.
- Gas masks or non-standard protection must display a visible ANSI rating.
Eye protection must remain on at all times in designated areas.
3. Chronograph & Power Limits
- All replicas must be chrono tested and cleared before use.
- Power Limit for all replicas is 1.31 Joules (Equivalent to 375fps with 0.20g)
- Maximum BB weight is 0.28g, players may be subject to spot testing at any time.
- Staff may re-check replicas at any time.
- Replicas exceeding safety limits will not be permitted until adjusted.
- Refusal to re-chrono or spot test BB weight will result in tag removal and disqualification of replica from gameplay.
- Attempting to use a non-permitted replica will result in removal from the event.
4. Firing Modes
- Semi-auto only unless otherwise announced.
- If full-auto is permitted:
- Maximum 40 rounds per second.
- Subject to chrono testing.
- Binary or multi-shot trigger systems are allowed only during official Speedsoft tournament matches.
5. HPA Regulations
- HPA systems must have a staff-installed tank lock.
- Tampering with or removing the lock will result in removal from the event.
6. Grenades & Prohibited Devices
- No smoke or pyro devices permitted.
- Cyclone-style BB grenades are allowed (must fire BBs).
- No grenades permitted in the Speedsoft arena.
- No 40mm shower shells allowed anywhere in the arena.
7. Field Safety
- No blind firing.
- You must see down your sights when shooting.
- No shooting through cracks or small gaps.
- No shooting under obstacles at players’ feet.
- Jump shots over obstacles are not permitted. Shooting over obstacles is only permitted if stable footing is maintained.
- Do not move, climb on, or modify arena obstacles.
- Report accidental damage to staff immediately.
- Intentional damage may result in removal.
8. Transporting Replicas
- All replicas must be transported in a case or covered container.
- This includes pistols and grenade-style devices.
- Visible replicas outside the building will result in immediate removal from the event.
SECTION 2: GAMEPLAY RULES
1. Hit Calling
- If struck by a BB, loudly call “HIT.”
- Raise your hand or use a kill rag if available.
- Return to spawn or follow current game instructions.
- Ricochets do not count.
- If unsure, call the hit.
Honesty is expected at all times.
2. Grenades in Gameplay
- Sound grenades are distraction only.
- Cyclone/Tornado-style grenades count if a BB strikes you.
- No 40mm shower shells permitted.
3. Gun Hit Rule
- If your primary weapon is hit, call “GUN.”
- Switch to your sidearm.
- If your sidearm is hit or unavailable, return to spawn.
4. Mercy Rule
- Within approximately 10 feet, a player may call “Mercy.”
- No melee weapons permitted.
- The opposing player may accept the hit or attempt to engage.
- If they fire back, normal engagement rules apply.
5. Dead Player Conduct
- Once eliminated, only say “HIT.”
- No callouts or communication with teammates.
- Resume communication only after respawn.
6. Emergency Procedure — “NO DUFF”
In case of real-life emergency:
- Shout “NO DUFF.”
- All players immediately stop.
- Place replicas on the ground.
- Step away from replicas.
- Play resumes only when cleared by staff.
7. Conduct & Sportsmanship
- Bring concerns to referees or staff.
- Do not confront other players directly.
- Excessive foul language is discouraged.
- Repeated or serious issues may result in removal.
8. Rule Enforcement
Staff may:
- Issue warnings
- Remove a player from a match
- Remove a player from the event
Event organizer decisions are final.
No refunds will be issued for ejections.
SECTION 3: SPEEDOPS INVITATIONAL RULES
1. Entry & Teams
- $30 per team or $5 per solo player.
- Solo players will be placed on teams.
- Matches are 6 vs. 6.
- Matches are best of 3 games. Each game lasts 3 minutes.
- Teams must be ready at match start. Late players will not delay play.
2. Equipment Restrictions
- One weapon per player during tournament matches.
- Maximum BB weight: 0.28g.
- Random BB weight spot checks may occur.
- Weapon changes allowed only between matches due to malfunction.
- Replacement weapons must meet all tournament limits.
3. Objective
- Capture the opposing team’s flag.
- Return it to your spawn.
- If no capture occurs within 3 minutes, the match is a draw.
4. Tournament Chronograph
- Chrono required before each match.
- Joule limit: 1.31J (375 FPS with 0.20g BBs).
5. Referee Authority
- Referee decisions are final.
- Arguing may result in match loss or tournament removal.
SECTION 4: FACILITY POLICIES
1. Age Requirements
- Minimum age: 12 years old.
- Players under 18 require signed parental waiver.
- Players 15 and under must have a parent or guardian on-site.
2. Rentals
- Valid ID required for rentals.
3. Prohibited Items
- No alcohol.
- No illegal drugs.
- No pets.
Violation will result in immediate removal.
4. Personal Property
The event is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Secure your gear at all times.
5. Respect the Facility
- Keep staging areas clean.
- Respect gameplay areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in parking areas.
- Help preserve the facility for future events.
